“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door.”
-Clarissa Pinkola Estes
When we cultivate attunement within ourselves, we create the conditions for lasting change and deep internal transformation
As a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I often incorporate SE with other modalities to support trauma resolution and greater embodiment. Many of my clients, come to therapy during periods of intensity and transition, or in the aftermath of loss or a traumatic event. Often there is a wish to establish a greater sense of safety, to connect and express more fully, and to take a closer look at patterns or ways of relating that may no longer be serving you. Ultimately, the goal of our work is a life more authentic and fulfilling.
My approach is relational, somatic, and collaborative. We pay attention not only to what is said, but also to the emotional and bodily signals that shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us in real time. As these patterns come into clearer focus, new possibilities for change often begin to emerge.
At the heart of this work is the belief that meaningful connection and change often unfolds within a thoughtful, informed and attuned therapeutic relationship.

Testimonials
“Dafna cultivates a supportive, contained, and transformative space for relational, somatic, and analytically informed supervision. In my time under Dafna’s supervision, I was invited to bring in the messy, sometimes intolerable, feelings and transferential dynamics inherent to clinical work, and I was met with warmth, guidance, and a pathway towards deeper understanding. Having worked with Dafna in this capacity, I have a greater knowledge of my gaps, strengths, and a framework for navigating recurring dynamics in the consulting room. I recommend working with with Dafna to any clinician in search of a connective, deep, and exploratory experience in consultation

“As a group supervisor, Dafna artfully made space for us to develop new insights into our work. She has a deep understanding of the human spirit, offers helpful framing in conceptualizing cases, and provides a warm and supportive container for exploring the emotional experience of being a therapist. Dafna brings expertise, intuition, playfulness, skill, and wisdom to her work. I trust Dafna, and as a result of working with her, I now trust myself more too”

“Dafna is a wonderful therapist and human being, who carries herself with a sense of calm and gentle attentiveness. I’ve wholeheartedly enjoyed my time being supervised by her, weaving in humor and laughter in between the quiet moments of deeper reflection. Dafna innately understands how to guide people into a space of comfort and ease. She’s the real deal.”

“Dafna is an exceptionally attuned supervisor who supported my growth as a therapist, particularly in deepening my understanding of somatic and other embodied approaches. She brings a rare combination of warmth, compassion, and wisdom, meeting supervisees with gentleness while honoring the knowledge and expertise they bring. Her presence feels grounding and nurturing while also guiding with clarity and skill. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dafna to therapy clients seeking ketamine-assisted work, somatic experiencing, and/or trauma healing in the container of a profoundly gentle, aligned, and supportive therapeutic relationship. Therapists looking to enrich their somatic and relational practice would also find her supervision invaluable.”
